High Quality Advisory Services from Arc Renewables:
Most renewable energy advice comes from people who make money from the outcome they recommend. Installers earn from installation contracts. PPA providers earn from the PPA they structure. Arc Renewables’ earns from the advisory and from nothing else.
Our consultancy service provides commercial property owners, logistics operators, developers, and institutional investors with the independent technical and commercial analysis they need before committing capital to a renewable energy project. Feasibility that is not anchored to a contractor relationship. Grid connection advice that is not shaped by a developer’s preferred route. Procurement support that puts your commercial interests ahead of any supplier’s margin.
- Feasibility Studies
Site-specific analysis covering energy yield modelling, financial returns (payback, IRR, NPV over 25 years), grid
connection desktop review, and planning risk assessment. Fixed fee. Delivered in 2–3 weeks. The starting point for
any well-governed renewable energy decision. - Grid Connection Advisory
Navigating DNO applications, capacity assessments, and G99/G100 requirements. We manage the grid connection process on your behalf, identifying constraints early and reducing the delays that derail timelines and inflate budgets.
- Planning & Permitting Support
Documentation packages for planning applications, environmental impact screening, and permitted development
assessment. We work alongside your planning consultant or manage the process directly, depending on what your
project requires. - Technical Due Diligence
Independent review of third-party designs, specifications, and EPC proposals. If you are being presented with a contractor’s scheme and want an independent assessment of whether it is technically sound and commercially reasonable, this is what Arc does.
- Procurement Advisory
Structuring the tender process, evaluating EPC contractor submissions, and advising on contract terms. We have no preferred contractor and no margin relationship with any supplier which is precisely what makes our procurement advice worth having.
- Portfolio Advisory
Multi-site feasibility programmes and estate-wide renewable energy strategy for property funds, logistics operators, and housing associations. Arc has delivered advisory mandates across portfolios operated by Helical Bar, Cadogan, Southern Housing, and Culina Group.

Why Arc
Arc’s consultancy is genuinely independent. We do not earn commissions from the contractors we recommend, the equipment we specify, or the funders we introduce. Every recommendation is shaped by what works for your project and your balance sheet not by what earns Arc a margin downstream.
The RICS accreditation matters because it signals the professional standards framework that institutional buyers require. Property funds, REITs, and procurement-governed organisations can engage Arc’s advisory without the governance risk that comes with unregulated consultants.
- Supplier-Independent and Supplier Neutral Advice:
As a developer and technology provider, our recommendations will always be objective. Demonstrated experience with many different types of renewable energy technologies/projects throughout the entire UK.
- Compliance with Regulated & Best Practice:
All our projects are designed, built, and operated in accordance with established UK and International best practices.
- Total Project Support:
We support the project from concept through implementation, and continued forward improvement.
Our Process: Renewable Energy Consultancy in the UK
We can move from dirty fossil fuels to healthy, environmentally cleaner energy with a structured step-by-step approach:
- Discovery call (free, 15 minutes)
Understand your site, your objectives, and where you are in the decision process. Arc will tell you honestly whether there is a viable case and what the right next step looks like.
- Feasibility study
The gateway product for every new project. Desktop analysis covering energy yield, financial returns, grid, and planning. Delivered in 2–3 weeks. Fixed fee.
- Options and recommendation
Arc presents the findings and offers two clear pathways not a menu of possibilities, not a catalogue of services. The right next step for your project, and the alternative if the circumstances change.
- Downstream service or referral
If the feasibility supports it, Arc proceeds to procurement advisory, project delivery, or PPA advisory or, where Arc is not the right party, makes a referral to a specialist who is.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is paid independent feasibility better than a free feasibility from an installer?
A free feasibility from an EPC contractor is a sales document. It is designed to produce a positive outcome for the contractor's pipeline. An Arc feasibility study is a professional assessment of viability designed to tell you the truth about whether the project stacks up, including when it does not.
Which clients does Arc work with?
Commercial property owners and REITs, logistics operators and large commercial occupiers, housing associations, solar farm developers, and property fund managers. Arc does not work with residential clients or sub-50kWp single-site commercial projects.
Can Arc help with grid connection?
Grid connection is one of the areas where independent advisory adds the most value because EPC contractors and developers manage grid connections in ways that serve their programme, not necessarily the client's long-term interests. Arc manages the DNO relationship and the G99/G100 process on your behalf.
Does Arc have a preferred EPC contractor?
No. Arc has no commercial relationship with any EPC contractor, equipment supplier, or installer. This is the structural basis of Arc's independence.
